We’re seeking a PA

NE Family Law is based in Richmond Upon Thames with offices (by appointment) in Windsor.  

We are seeking a hardworking and organised individual to join our friendly team who will have the ability to deal with sensitive situations.   The role will be to support both partners.

Based in our Richmond office in Central Richmond, we are seeking someone with a ‘can do’ attitude.  The role is broad and varied, requiring outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and the highest standards of client care.

The position is offered on a part or full time basis.  Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm Flexible working options will be considered.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:-

  • Office & Accounts admin
    • Processing incoming and outgoing mail
  • File admin including opening & closing files, AML/compliance documentation, electronic filing of post, emails and attachments using CMS, archiving
    • Answering the phone, taking messages and diary management
  • Greeting clients
  • Liaising with clients, Court, third parties
  • Other administrative duties as required
  • Some social media management/tasks and other forms of business development desirable but not essential

Experience and Skills

  • Experience as a legal secretary / PA within a family law department or other professional services
  • Excellent client care skills and client handling both in person and on the phone
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems – good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite / Adobe and ability to master our CMS and navigate online training/self-learning where required
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook
  • Proven ability to implement and/or improve internal systems and policies
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook with experience of or willingness to learn social media, marketing skills and business development
  • Confidence to hit the ground running and own and develop in the role
  • A willingness to undertake training in specific areas of law firm administration and operations to develop knowledge and skills

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Flexible working. Hybrid working options to be reviewed on successful completion of 3-month probationary period.
  • Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays with additional holiday between Christmas to New Year when the office is closed
