Emma

Emma has specialised in family law for over 13 years and has spent much of her career to date specialising in children and financial matters, including high conflict proceedings. Emma gains the trust and confidence of her clients by providing clear advice, options and strategy throughout whether within or outside a court process. Emma’s practice has been built on her commitment to the cases she is instructed on and her firm, but friendly, approach to clients and their circumstances. 

Emma has an LLM in Child Law and has a particular interest in private law children matters and has been instructed in a number of complex children matters acting for mothers, fathers and grandparents. In particular, Emma has considerable experience in domestic and international relocation.

In relation to financial matters, Emma is regularly instructed by clients with various levels of assets from medium to high net worth within the UK and abroad, often giving rise to considerations of jurisdiction and enforcement.

Emma has also dealt with matters concerning the rights of unmarried couples involving disputes over interests in property (TOLATA) and financial provision for children applications.

Emma is a committed member of Resolution and is also a Resolution trained ‘all issues’ Family Mediator working towards accreditation.
